Job description

Aesop Research Ltd, founded by coaches and sports scientists, is focused on developing innovative solutions in strength training. Our main product, MyoAdapt, is a training app that applies scientific principles to deliver personalized fitness coaching. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work on both the frontend and backend development of MyoAdapt, enhance its features based on user feedback, and engage with open-source projects related to our tech stack.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in frontend development technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
  • Development experience with .NET/ASP.NET.
  • Familiarity with data transformation, validation, and error handling techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and the PostgreSQL dialect.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • A solid understanding of designing and using APIs.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • A desire to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with functional programming, especially F#.
  • Experience with React Native and native mobile development (iOS/Android).
  • Knowledge of building Docker images and working with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Nix and NixOS.
  • Experience with / interest in working out.

Our flagship product, MyoAdapt, is a training app that applies scientific principles to deliver personalized fitness coaching. We are seeking a Native Mobile Developer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on developing the MyoAdapt app for mobile platforms as well as companion apps for Apple Watch and Wear OS devices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in native mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with frontend development technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
  • Familiarity with data transformation, validation, and error handling techniques.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Solid understanding of integrating with APIs and third-party services.
  • A desire to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
